The Rambler is a complete interior remodel of a 1953 home in Seattle’s Seward Park neighborhood. It consists of a gut overhaul of the main floor of the house and exterior deck, along with finishing the existing daylit basement to include bedrooms, tons of storage, a new bathroom, a family room with bar and new exterior patio.

The saturated blue library space is lined with custom painted shelving, and divides the rest of the main floor from the primary suite.

By reconfiguring the existing deck and adding huge sliding doors, the basement family room is connected to the exterior patio space and beautiful backyard. Built in storage cabinets under the stair, complete with built in kitty cabin connect to the upper level, while additional full height storage cabinets line the family room space.  An integral wet bar allows for easy entertaining in the lower level as it spills outside. Two bedrooms, a laundry room and a generous emerald green guest bath were added on this level to complete the Rambler’s transformation.
