Best Practice collaborated with Bellan Construction on this comprehensive remodel to revive an existing 50’s rambler.
Located in the sleepy town of Woodway, this dignified rambler was renovated to meet the needs of a grandmother and family visitors. The existing mid-century ranch style concept was reinvigorated with an infusion of a grandmother’s charm and new elegantly streamlined design elements.
Opening the floor plan transformed the living experience while also allowing greater accessibility and ADA clearances, and this two-fold approach was key to the design of all new design interventions.

Custom built casework divides the sleeping quarters from one another, emphasizing the concept of an open floor plan while maintaining separation and minimizing light transmittance into the sleeping quarters.
