Cool Lobby Furniture

This suite of custom lobby furniture was designed by Best Practice, and fabricated by local craftspeople (Big Leaf Manufacturing, Troy Pillow Studio, Fixture Design Studio). Solid alder tops compliment the bright teal powder-coated steel bases. Careful attention to functional lighting led to the swinging lamps, which swivel as needed in the lobby space. The charming felt front desk needed a welcoming touch, so magnets were embedded behind the layer of felt, so that various different messages cut out of steel could be applied.
