The Best Practice design team was asked to breath new life into an untouched mid-century rambler for a young family with two daughters and very colorful taste. Located in Magnolia, the vintage house boasted spectacular views towards downtown Seattle, but was in dire need of updates. The new design is simultaneously reverent to the classic mid-century details while creating a fully modern open floor plan that expands to an exterior living space with panoramic views. The resultant design is a playful contrast to the history of the house.
